How Face Randomizer works
Face Randomizer is an independent creative utility that sends a reference image and selected controls to an image-generation service. The model produces a synthetic portrait based on those instructions. It is intended for fictional characters, design exploration, and placeholders—not for proving identity or making factual claims about a person.
What happens during generation
The application checks the input, converts controls into descriptive instructions, requests an image from the model, and returns the result to the browser. Some plans can request a second profile view. Generative output is probabilistic: two requests with the same controls can produce different results, and a control may influence an output without matching it exactly.
Important limitations
The service cannot certify that a result has no resemblance to any real person. It cannot establish ethnicity, nationality, attractiveness, identity, or other factual traits from appearance. Labels and sliders are creative prompt controls rather than scientific assessments. Outputs may contain visual errors and should be checked by a person before use.
Image handling
Uploaded reference images are processed for the generation request and are not added to the public gallery. Synthetic results may be retained temporarily as recent examples, as described in the Privacy Policy. The external image provider receives the data needed to process the request under its own service terms and data practices.
Responsible use
The terms prohibit fraud, impersonation, deceptive deepfakes, harassment, and illegal content. A synthetic portrait should be disclosed whenever an audience could reasonably mistake it for a real person's photograph. Users are responsible for their source images, the context in which results appear, and compliance with applicable law.
